Dry skin beware. I’m on a mission this season to moisturize. I’ve always had a serious aversion to lotions because I can’t stand to be sticky; but I’m finding the older I get, the drier my skin gets in winter. I think it’s finally time to desensitize this aversion by making more of an effort to care for my skin. Increasing my daily intake of water certainly wouldn’t hurt either.
I thought of doing this a while back, but kept forgetting to give it a try. As I sit here typing this, I’m hearing the thunder from the storm rolling in. I didn’t even know we were expecting rain. I better make this quick; so I’ll end by reminding everyone to set their clocks back an hour since Daylight Saving Time ends tonight, at least for those of us in areas that still do this.
We had a really nice thunderstorm early this morning around 6am. Finally, a decent rainfall! I really liked how the bird bath reflected upside down in the water droplets on the window. I only wish my window had been cleaner, haha!
The water droplets on the fence looked like little crystal balls in the early morning light. I find it funny that we have these little corn sprouts all over the yard from the squirrels burying corn kernels off the feeder corn last winter.
