Day 236 Cookeville Boat Dock

Like I’ve mentioned before, I have absolutely no sense of direction. I was trying to find a house that recently became available for rent. Somehow or another, I ended up at Cookeville Boat Dock. I stopped briefly to snap a quick photo of the beautiful scenery before retracing my route.

Apparently, I wasn’t the only lost soul who ended up there. As I was walking back to my car, a couple of vehicles pulled up and parked next to me. A very nice lady with what sounded like a German accent asked me if I knew of a place to eat around there. She said they were trying to find a particular restaurant but also got turned around. I had to apologize and tell her that I was as lost as they were. We all had a good laugh over our coincidental meeting.

  1. If you’re in a hurry and you get lost, it can be a real pain. But if you’re just going with the flow, then getting lost can bring ‘fate’ to the fore – because you have time to let it do it’s thing.
