I meant to take a photo for last week’s Weekly Photo Challenge earlier, but it slipped my mind. The corn plants we have growing all over the yard are the result of some very industrious gardening squirrels. They must be burying more of the feeder corn than they are eating. This particular plant near the fence-row has grown big enough for a couple of ears of corn to start developing.
While weeding around the spearmint plant, David even found a peanut taking root in a shallow grave. Our squirrels surely must have a green thumb because they can grow just about anything!
