David has been trying to get the mirrors on his telescope properly collimated ever since I got it for him for his birthday about a year and a half ago. He works on it for a while until he gets frustrated with it. Then, it sits awaiting his next attempt. He almost has it dead on, now; but it was so cold outside earlier tonight that looking at Venus and Jupiter was simply a quick test of his adjustments.
I would have had this photo uploaded much earlier tonight, but I was experiencing some technical difficulties with my computer. I swear, this thing has a mind of its own sometimes.
